Our Women’s teams play in the GBL summer competition which runs from the start of October to the end of March with a short 3 week break over Christmas.
The Women’s competition is open to female players who are 14+ years old. There are 3 divisions each season to cater for all ages and abilities.
At Beenleigh we typically have a team in the Division 2 competition which caters for new players paired with some experienced players in one team.
Games are on Saturday afternoons usually either at 3:30pm or 6pm and played across all South Brisbane clubs along with a few Gold Coast based clubs.
The cost is $500 which includes a players yearly insurance fees, which means if a player chooses to play the winter off season their insurance is already covered.
Training for our Women’s team is on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm.
The women’s competition is great for both new and experienced players, so if you’re new to baseball please come down as each year we would normally have 5-10 new women’s players join the club.
